Ninja Creami Low Carb Banana Protein Ice Cream
If you’ve been missing bananas while following a low carb diet or simply can’t fit bananas into your macros, this banana ice cream recipe might be the fix you’re cravings have been looking for!
So hear me out…
I’ve tried to stay away from adding pudding mixes to my Ninja Creami ice cream recipes for a while now, but I had to give in and see what all the hype is about.
Honestly, the artificial taste isn’t as bad as I was expecting. For the sugar free pudding mixes, like this sugar free banana pudding mix, it does contain maltodextrin which may increase your glucose, so just be aware if you’re watching your blood sugar closely.

You can pretty much add a scoop of unflavored protein powder to any recipe, as long as it’s a high quality protein powder. I’ve noticed the isolates tend to work better, but I haven’t tried every brand on the market yet. Depending on the fat content or lack of emulsifiers, you may just have to give it a re-spin or two for the best texture.

Tools to make this easy recipe
- Ninja Blender – I love my ninja blender. Not only can you use it for the obvious, like smoothies and shakes, but it also works perfectly for making the ice cream base!
- Ninja Creami ice cream maker – I am in love with this Ninja Creami.
- Ninja Creami Pints – I opted for these pints because they were about half the price, but be weary if you need them quickly; it took about three weeks to get here. They did have some prime options for other pint containers, but I was being thrifty.
