Hey! I’m Lara! I created from Ice Cream to Steak to share some of my favorite easy recipes. I decided to create a separate blog from my main blog, because I wanted to keep that blog for healthy and lower carb recipes, and use this blog to share some of my favorite not so healthy recipes – because sometimes you just want to splurge a little.

As a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer, I try to eat healthy 80-90% of the time. In this blog you’ll see a bunch of ice cream recipes, but don’t worry – most of them have been adapted to be either lower in carbs or higher in protein (some even both!) and steak recipes (my favorite food!) and everything in between.

I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2010 with my Master’s of Science in Health and Nutrition. Between undergrad and grad school I decided to get my personal trainer certificate because I wanted to learn more about how nutrition and weight lifting were intertwined. I’ve been hooked ever since!
